Prototec Stage 5

Today we did prototec I did stage 5. I only got one wrong. This is the picture.

Mixed Fractions

Today we did Mixed Fractions. I had a little trouble at the start but I soon picked it up. Below I will show you my report card.

I enjoyed the line questions because they are a lot easier to do.

Numeracy Matific v.s Mathletics

MY FAVOURITE SUBJECT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we did numeracy. I learnt how to count in tens to 64,000. I have been learning on matific and mathletics. I think I understand how to do dividebies because I have been learning the hole year.

First we started off with 15 minutes of mathletics. I learnt what arrays are. Then we went on matific for the rest of numeracy. I completed 7 math games and I got 6 monsters that I collected. My favourite is parto. I will show you him now.

I think the site is organised and tidy. In matific you get to do heaps of levels and collect lots of monsters that the math wizard put in the chests. This is Partos family.

Overall I think that Matific is the best for my learning. Because it has lots more levels and missions.

The Monster And The Goey Marshmalow

This few weeks we have been learning about language features like onomatopoeia puns and metaphors. Also we seen a video about a monster and a boy with marshmallows. The work that my buddy Caleb have done are right below.

Gooey Marshmallows

It was a calm night, it was also in the middle of the rainforest and it was as cold as antarctica.

The monster craved marshmallows but could not find any. But suddenly !!! He jumped out of the water and gave a boy named Francis the shivers!!!

There was a little boy named Francis, he loved exploring around the outside forest.

He was alone and he stumbled across a monster and it gave him the puppy eyes. He tried to defend himself with a marshmallow on a stick. The boy gave the monster a few more marshmallows.

Then he ran out of marshmallows because he had his cold hand in the  bag of yummy marshmallows,he screamed arrr where are the marshmallow and the monster got angry and roared as loud as a dinosaur . Next the boy tried to defend himself with a pillow.The 8 thought it was a marshmallow the monster be came happy and thort it was a marshmallow.  

Soo then the monster got a stick and tried to cook it like sausages!!!

But then he realized that it wasn't a marshmallow because it burnt into ashes. Then the boy ran as fast as a cheater into the forest screaming!!!AAAAAAAAAA RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

He ran straight to his warm parents and was telling them all about and the next week later they had a curse because they went back into the cold scary

rainforest.

Marc Ryan (Olympics)

Today we met Marc Ryan. He has been in the London Olympics and the Beijing Olympics. His nickname is Dream because he use to dream about being a famous cyclist.

The thing I enjoyed the most was when I got to feel a real olympic medal.

OUR DREAMS PROJECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we did dreams project. We figured out were where put our race track. Also we are doing radiator springs.The people in my group are Blake, Bryce and Camryn.

I learnt how to carry real heavy bricks.

Prototec Stage 5

Today we did prototec stage five. I only got one wrong but that was by mistake.

I learnt harder divisions.
